 Questions and answers 

1. Could the TA/Support Staff of the Blackboard Course and/or the alternative host of the Zoom meeting map the meeting with the course’s Panopto folder? 

   • The person who maps the meeting to the course’s Panopto folder must be the host who scheduled the Zoom meeting. To learn more, please refer to CUHK EdTech Help Center: Blackboard's ZOOM Panopto Integration.  

2. How to add quiz questions in a video? What types of questions are available? And how to collect my students’ answers? 

   • To add quiz questions to the Panopto video, please refer to Panopto Support: How to Add a Quiz to a Video. You can access the quiz results under the video’s “Settings” button. 

   • Reminder: please remember to click “Apply” after you have added questions or made any changes. 

   • Optionally, you can then add the Panopto Quiz in Blackboard content area. For more: Panopto Support: How to Use a Panopto Quiz as a Blackboard Assessment. You can access the quiz results in Blackboard Grade Center.  

   • Four types of questions are available: Multiple Choice, True/False, Multiple Select, and Fill in the Blank.  

3. What can I do with the “Edit” features on Panopto? 

   • Please refer to Panopto Support: How to Edit a Video. 

   • If needed, you could also merge two videos: Panopto Support: How to Merge Videos. 

4. Can I add a table of content for a Panopto video? 

   • Yes. Please refer to Panopto Support: How to Add a Table of Contents to a Video in the Editor. 

5. Who can access the videos that were uploaded to my course’s Panopto folder? 

   • By default, only the users enrolled in that Blackboard course can access the videos.  

6. I would like to use Panopto for my project. Can I request a Panopto folder that is not under a Blackboard/CUSIS course? 

   • You could request a Panopto folder under https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/webform/view.php?id=13541155. We will then review and process your request.  

7. How about the analytics/statistics/attendance? How do teachers know if students have watched the video? 

   • Teachers can check the statistics of their Panopto folders and videos. For more, please refer to Panopto Support: Learn About Folder and Session Level Statistics.
